ABOUT ME

Hi,

My name is Katie Burns.  I am a graduating senior at Bayor University majoring in Public Relations.  I also have a minor in Political Science.

One of my favorite classes at Baylor has been Media Photogaphy, and I've learned a lot about visual storytelling. It's become a hobby of mine.

​

I've had several internships that have taught me a lot about public relations.  I worked at the Baylor Alumni Association, where I wrote for the Baylor Line magazine. I also worked at the Midway ISD Education Foundation, and I did a lot of design work. Now, I'm working at the Paul L. Foster Succes Center, where I serve as the public relations staff. I do design work, social media, writing and event planning. I love that I can do something new everyday.

I have a youger brother and sister. They're my very best friends! I'm also engaged to Wade Martin, and we're getting married in June. We can't wait to start our life together.

I love my life, and I love my work.  I know this is just the start of an exciting career!
